Regular Instagram viewers might know that I fell into old fashioned photography again. Recently I travelled through Egypt. This was always my desire and also the fifth time being there. This time, equipped with my tiny old Agfa Silette 1954, I took the chance to capture my own perception of ancient Egypt. How would images of former explorers have been aging since today? Given the limited technical possibilities 200 years ago what kind of impression would they have brought home? Sure these images are postprocessed. But they reflect my own impression in regard to a time where travelling was more an exhausting exploration than having a good time.
